Responsibilities:

  • Identify and generate leads through various channels such as networking, cold calling, online research, and attending industry events.
  • Qualify leads and assess their potential to convert into viable business opportunities.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with existing and potential clients, understanding their needs and preferences.
  • Provide excellent customer service, addressing client inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly.
  • Develop and deliver persuasive sales presentations to showcase the company’s products/services and value proposition.
  • Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts to secure new business deals and partnerships.
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop and execute effective business development strategies aligned with the company’s goals.
  • Identify new markets, product/service offerings, and innovative approaches to drive revenue growth.
  • Maintain a well-organized sales pipeline, tracking leads, opportunities, and sales activities using CRM software.
  • Forecast sales targets and monitor progress towards achieving sales goals.
  • Coordinate with marketing, product development, and other teams to ensure a seamless transition from lead generation to client onboarding.
  • Gather insights from different departments to enhance products/services based on client feedback and market demands.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. Master’s/MBA is a plus.
  • Proven experience (2 years) in business development, sales, or a related role within the IT industry.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport and credibility with clients and team members.
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to persuade and influence potential clients.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze market trends, competition, and client needs to develop effective business strategies.
  • Proven track record of successfully building and maintaining long-term business relationships.
  • An extensive network within the industry or market segment is advantageous.
  • Driven by achieving and exceeding sales targets and contributing to overall company growth.
  • Ability to handle rejection and setbacks while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Willingness to adapt to changing market conditions and tailor strategies accordingly.
