Responsibilities:

  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative user research to gather insights about user behaviors, needs, and preferences.
  • Plan and execute usability studies, interviews, surveys, and user testing sessions.
  • Analyze research data to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities for improving the user experience.
  • Create and refine user personas based on research findings, representing different user segments and their characteristics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a deep understanding of user needs and motivations.
  • Design and facilitate usability testing sessions, both remote and in-person, to evaluate product designs and prototypes.
  • Document usability test findings and recommend actionable improvements to enhance product usability.
  • Collaborate with UX designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define UX strategies aligned with business goals and user needs.
  • Translate research insights into actionable design recommendations and inform design decisions.
  • Analyze research data using various tools and methodologies to derive meaningful insights and present findings to relevant stakeholders.
  • Create comprehensive and clear reports that communicate research results, design recommendations, and potential impact on the user experience.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in UX research and design.
  • Conduct competitive analysis to identify strengths and weaknesses of competing products and inform design improvements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Psychology, Cognitive Science, Design, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in qualitative and quantitative research methods, including user interviews, surveys, usability testing, and data analysis.
  • Ability to synthesize complex data into clear and actionable insights.
  • Deep empathy for users and a strong commitment to understanding their needs and behaviors.
  • Ability to advocate for users throughout the design and development process.
  • Excellent communication skills to convey research findings, insights, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong storytelling skills to create engaging and impactful presentations and reports.
  • Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including UX/UI designers, product managers, and engineers.
  • Ability to foster a collaborative and user-centered culture within the organization.
  • Proficiency in using UX research tools and software, such as user testing platforms, survey tools, data analysis software, and design prototyping tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret research data, identify trends, and make data-driven design recommendations.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing past UX research projects and the impact of your work on product design and user experience.
